Position Type: Full-time, Direct-Hire
Description: This position assists the Lead Teacher and Direct/Site Supervisor with supervision, development and education of children.
Position Requires: A minimum of 1 year experience within the last four years, including at least 6 months of care for infants and toddlers in a center-based setting. Must have a minimum Associate Teacher Level Permit and must be able to obtain DRDP Rater Certification within 3 months and ERS within one year; maintain as needed. A minimum of 12 core ECE semester units (including at least one course in the care or development of infants and toddlers) and must be willing to participate in activities that furthers own professional growth (averaging 21+ hours per year). Completion of CPR, pediatric first aid & CPR, mandated reporter, pest management and safe sleep training (for infant educators) training. Physical ability to bend and be eye-level with small children, sit on low chairs and/or floor and lift up to appr. 40 lbs if needed; and work with diverse populations and with disabled or challenging children. Selected candidates must also maintain a clear and active exemption-free status with Community Care Licensing for the duration of employment with FSA and must pass a health screening test, immunized against: Influenza (ability to decline with a signature), Pertussis and Measles, Covid, TB test and Drug screening Clearance.
