Description: Sacramento County award-winning firm is seeking an experienced Principal Architect to lead a small but talented team! Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, establishing productive working relationships, and listen, communicate, deal effectively and cooperatively with clients, team members, consultants, and government agencies. Maintaining professional relationships with clients to ensure future opportunities to partner. Management of staff and clients to ensure project goals are being met. Set goals, prioritize, and plan work activities for self-management and use time efficiently. Estimate project schedule and project phase hours for assigned tasks and finish tasks within agreed upon budget hours for said task(s). Manage projects, budgets, schedules, staffing, and coordinate billing as requested.
Position Requires: Architectural degree from an accredited university or equivalent demonstrated proficiency. Minimum of sixteen to eighteen (16-18) years’ experience in production and coordination of documents in all phases of architectural practice and in management of projects desired; business development and client relationship building skills; license in your field is required. Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) or demonstrated equivalent and proficiency. License to practice architecture in the state of California required.
